Ba?kent University Faculty of Medicine was established in 1994. The postgraduate program was started in the same year, and the undergraduate program was established in the Academic Year of 1998-1999.
The faculty is composed of three sections as Basic Medical Sciences; Surgical Sciences; and Medical Sciences. Each section is made up of departments and divisions, as listed below. Education, training, research and health activities are carried out at the Ba?lyca Campus and at the University's practice and research centers.
