We sailed to Folegandros which is located 30 nM north-west of Santorini, between Milos and Sikinos. We reached Karavostasis with strong NW wind. Folegandros belongs to the southwest Cyclades and is very small island with a nice beach and a wonderful Chora. The Chora of Folegandros with the famous Venetian castle is built at a 200 m altitude. There are tourists from all over the world that come to this island for living in old Greek houses restorated as maintaining the old times atmosphere. They are not interested in the sea so much, they like to live in Chora which is on the mountain. The first night we were on anchor since the harbor was full. Then the next day when we were going to the harbour the engine stopped quite far from it. It was very tired work to pull her which is more than 15 tons by the dinghy and its 2.5Hp engine. The problem was a stucked fuel pipe by dirt. It took 3 hours to repair the engine.
